Youth Services

Youth services are funded by the Ministry of Children and Family Development (MCFD).  Individuals must be eligible for services and obtain a referral to participate.

Contact the MCFD Penticton office, Children and Youth with Special Needs branch, at 104-1873 Main Street or by telephone at 250-770-7524.

The Friday Night Program provides opportunities for youth to participate in a variety of social/recreational activities in a group setting with opportunities for skill development.

Activities are fun, youth oriented and age appropriate.  Participants can spend time socializing with other youths, use computers, access the internet, play X-Box, Wii U, Playstation 3 and 4, play pool, table tennis, foosball, air hockey and more.  This program also accesses community resources including swimming, workouts, lazer bowling, field trips and special events.  All snacks and Friday night dinners are provided free of charge.  In most cases participants arrive to our facility on their own and are driven home by our staff.
The current month's schedule of events can be viewed on this website under "Youth Activities".

The One to One Life Skills Program provides support and life skills training in the areas of finance, hygiene, personal safety, nutrition, employment preparedness and skills for increased independence in the community.  The program also supports and prepares individuals to successfully transition to adulthood.
