Potato Corn Chowder
5 Potatoes, peeled and diced
1 Onion, diced
4 Stalks Celery, diced
1 Red Pepper, diced
3 Carrots, diced
2 Cups Corn, frozen or canned
8 Cups Water
2 Cups Milk
3 Tbsp. Chicken Bouillon Powder
1 tsp. Garlic Powder
1 tsp. Pepper
1 tsp. Seasoning Salt
1 Cup Water
1/3 Cup Flour
In a stockpot, add the water, onion, celery, red pepper, carrots and potatoes. Bring to boil on medium to high heat. Add the bouillon, garlic powder, pepper and seasoning salt. Leave on medium heat for 15 minutes, add the corn. Continue to cook for another 15 minutes. Mix flour and water until smooth. Add milk to pot, bring to boil. Slowly whisk in the flour mixture. Chowder should thicken. Enjoy!!!! Freezes well.
