New England Clam Chowder
5 Potatoes - peeled and cubed
1 tsp. Oil
1/2 Cup Carrots - peeled and chopped
1 Onion - diced
1/2 Cup Celery - diced
1 Can Evaporated Milk
1/4 Cup Flour
1 Can Clams - minced
1 Cup Milk
1/2 Cup Water
1/2 tsp. Seasoning Salt
1/2 tsp. Garlic Powder
1/2 tsp. Pepper
In oil saute onions and celery. Add carrots and potatoes. Cook stiring frequently for 8 to 10 minutes or until potatoes tender. In a small bowl combine evaporated milk and flour and mix until smooth. Add to vegetable mixture. Stir in clams with juice, milk, water and seasonings. Simmer for 15 to 20 minutes or until creamy and slighly thick. Enjoy!!!
