Homemade Meatloaf
2 Pounds Lean Ground Beef
1 Cup Bread Crumbs or Rolled Oats
1/2 Cup Finely Chopped Onion
1/3 Cup Milk
1/3 Cup Ketchup
2 Eggs, well-beaten
2 tsp. seasoning Salt
1/4 tsp Pepper
1/4 tsp. Garlic Powder
1 Tomato, thinly sliced
4 Cheese Slices
Pre-heat oven to 375F. In a bowl combine ground beef, bread crumbs, onion, milk, ketchup, eggs, salt, pepper and garlic powder. Mix gently until blended. Shape into a loaf and place in a baking pan. Arrange tomato slices over the loaf. Bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Place cheese slices overlapping on top of the tomatoes on the loaf. Continue baking for 15 minutes or until cheese browns and bubbles. Serve with potatoes or rice and glazed carrots. Enjoy!!
