Peanut Energy Bars |
1/2 Cup Peanuts 1/2 Cup Sunflower Seeds 1/2 Cup Raisins or other Dried Fruit 2 Cups Rolled Oats 2 Cups Rice Cereal 1/2 Cup Peanut Butter 1/2 Cup Brown Sugar 1/2 Cup Light Corn Syrup 1 tsp. Vanilla |
Mix together peanuts, sunflower seeds, raisins, rolled oats and rice cereal. In a large micorwave proof bowl mix peanut butter, brown sugar and corn syrup. Microwave on high for 2 minutes. Add vanilla and stir until blended. Add dry ingredients and stir until coated. Spoon mixture into a greased 8 inch square pan. Press down with wet hands and let stand for an hour, cut into bars. Enjoy!! |
