2 cups flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. ground ginger
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 cup margarine
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup molasses
1 egg
Preheat oven to 350F. Combine flour, baking soda, ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt in a bowl. In another large bowl combine the margarine, sugar, molasses, egg and beat with an electric mixer. Add the flour mixture and beat until all the flour is combined. Drop the dough, one teaspoonful at a time, onto a baking sheet. Bake for 10 to 15 minutes. Allow the cookies to cool one minute on the sheet then remove them to cool completely.
