1 Pound Lean Ground Beef
1/2 Cup Onion (chopped)
1 Cup Fresh Mushrooms (sliced)
1/2 Cup Green Pepper (chopped)
1/2 Cup Red Pepper (chopped)
1 Clove Garlic (minced)
2 Cups Water
1 Can Diced Tomatoes (canned)
1 Package Taco Seasoning
1 tsp. Chili Powder
1 Can Kidney Beans, rinsed and drained
1 Can Black Beans, rinsed and drained
1 Can Pinto Beans, rinsed and drained
1/2 Cup Grated Cheddar Cheese
In large pot, brown ground beef and onion over medium heat until meat is no longer pink. Add the mushrooms, peppers and garlic. Cook until vegetables are tender about 5 minutes. Stir in water, tomatoes, chili powder and taco seasoning. Bring to boil and reduce heat to simmer for 30 minutes. Add all three types of beans and simmer for 30 minutes more. Serve topped with grated cheese. Enjoy with fresh bread!!
